ARDOS

The ARDOS project (short for Amateur Radio Drone Operator System) is a Czech volunteer system that connects radio amateurs and drone operators to provide assistance during crisis situations and search operations.

The project operates under the auspices of the Czech Army Radio Club
and works in close cooperation with the Communication Corps of the Czech Armed Forces.

Key Pillars of the Project:

Search and Rescue: Utilizing drones to search for missing or hiding persons in the field.

Emergency Communication: Establishing backup communication networks (e.g. using the Winlink system) in case of standard infrastructure failure.

Volunteer Network: Involving civilian experts who wish to offer their technical equipment and skills to the state in times of emergency.
